Too many unsuspecting people are dying from fentanyl poisoning. How Do We Stop It?
How we started
We tragically lost our son, brother and friend, John Thomas Quehl (“Jack”) to fentanyl poisoning in 2021. To let Jack’s memory fade would be an injustice to him and to all who knew him, so Jack’s family and friends started “DOITFORJACK” and the Jack Quehl Foundation.
Our Vision
To be a sought-after resource for protecting and preserving our future generations from the increasing presence of illicit substances.
Our Mission
To empower our future generations to make life-saving decisions by delivering authentic stories and detailed information about the dangers of fentanyl.
It’s the number one cause of death between 18 and 45 year olds. That’s shocking. Every school, every person, every parent should know about it. No family should ever have to go through this.”
Daughter Lost to Fentanyl
The Fentanyl crisis
Fentanyl is killing a record number of people, including many like Jack who had no warning they were being exposed. More and more fentanyl is making its way into the country, including via counterfeit prescription drugs such as Adderall, Xanax and Percocet.
The best weapon we’ve found in the war on fentanyl is a story. That’s why we put people who have experienced a fentanyl tragedy in front of the most vulnerable. To relate and educate.
